#0008

View of upper Trapper Creek.

#0013

Mountain snow scene west of Antelope Butte ski run.

#0014

Bighorn Mountains: Interesting fences abound.

#0104

Breathtaking view of red sandstone formation.

#0105

A unique wooden fence in front of Antelope Butte, elevation about 10,000 feet.

#0123

A snow scene in the Bighorn Mountains. Similar to #0013.

#0125

Chimney Rock set against the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains. You're looking in an easterly direction.

#0126

Landscape view of Chimney Rock.

#0128

Looking north in the Bighorn Mountains, US 14 is on your left. Antelope Butte is behind me. Cattle graze.

#0129

Looking west in the Bighorn Mountains, Highway 14 is in the background. What can I say? I like fences. The chap who wrote "Don't Fence Me In" might prefer the land to the left.

#0133

The Bighorn Mountains pushed upwards. You can see glaciation and erosion along the edge of the mountains which dinosaurs once roamed.

#0134

The "W" that everyone in this area knows. Look at the contrast: fertile fields against arid soil.

#0136

The "W" is on your right. People ride horseback up the canyons formed by the "W". The right canyon is wet. The left canyon is dry.

#0137

Highway US 14 passes along the outer edge of green. I like the contour of the reddish hills.

#0138

The title of this photo could be "Road to the Sky". The area is near Twin Buttes off of US 14.

#0139

A good stand of timber near Twin Buttes.

#0140

A beautiful summer day in the Bighorn Mountains. You can see the ski run in the background.

#0141

Antelope Butte is above the timber line. Summer cabins are nestled below.

#0142

Back in the timber after the first snow of the fall, I accessed this area on an old logging road.

#0143

A different view than #0142.

#0144

Similar to #0137. The entrance to Shell Canyon is to your right.

#0145

This photo looks southeast. The steep faces are now home to Douglas fir and maybe some Engleman spruce. Shell Creek runs below. The place where dad and I learned to ski is down to your left.

#0148

The fence and road lead your eye to the attractive red sandstone hills up from Trapper Creek.

#0149

If you follow Beaver Creek Road you'll find the place where I took this shot with my Nikon F100. Portra 160 VC film provided good saturation of the green hues, sky and clouds.

#0150

Trapper Creek runs near the trees. The interesting Chimney Rock is the leftmost portion of the red hills in #0148.

#0151

A summer view of the Chimney Rock, you can see to the right of US 14. Shell Creek is live by the trees.

#0152

The man who cuts timber gave me permission to photograph his outfit. Note the church on the hill. A trip up Beaver Creek will take you here.

#0156

The angles around the edges are the open door of my auto. The place is the baseball diamond. The unusual cloud formation caught my eye. It looks like a wave approaching shore!

#0157

If you drive further south on the road in #0138 and look west you'll see this view. The area in the background is windy and too difficult for timber to grow.

#0158

Another view of timber near Twin Buttes.

#0219

This photo was taken on the west side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Ocean. It portrays sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

#0221

Sunset over the ruins of a refinery.

#0226

Sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The sun appears as a red circle.
